Pretty Smile.

Recently, I got turned on to a program called ArtRage. It's basically an oil paint simulator similar to Corel Painter, but it's significantly cheaper and of course the features are stripped way down. That isn't a bad thing, though, as the interface is quite intuitive. There are a couple more features that it could have, but overall it's easy to pick up as long as you have a basic understanding of how oil paints work.

A couple of hours playing around with the program made this little guy. I was basically just going at it freestyle, so nothing perfect here. But I thought it was pretty cool looking and it's neat to see results so quickly with this program. If you have any interest in digital art (particularly digital art that tries to mimic real paint), then I highly recommend this program. What does "significantly cheaper" mean. $25.00 for the full version! How can you possibly complain about that price? Go buy it!

Great collection of some very dark imagery you have here. Dark Digital Art - I like it but personally I go for lighter stuff, even when doing myths - http://www.digitalartprintgallery.com/0/religions-and-myth.html

Cheers,
